I made two dresses for the musical theatre production of She Loves Me - a mustard evening dress and a pink slip, both for the character Amalia Balash. Both dresses were sewn on the bias. Evening Dress: The evening dress was created from a mix of patterns. The bodice had a cowl neckline with two layered flounced sleeves. The seams seperating the skirt flounce from the upper part of the skirt, and the upper skirt from the bodices both came to a point at the front. It had a zipper closure with decorative covered buttons down the back. Slip: The pink night slip had a lace overlay on the front and ties at the back of the waist as well as a decorative bow on the front.
